Donald Haycock is a professional engineer and the founding principal of Conestoga‑Rovers & Associates (CRA). He has held several senior positions within CRA including President, CEO, Treasurer, and Director of Professional Services. Previously to his position at CRA, he served as a member of the Board of Governors at the University of Waterloo and was the founding Chairman of the Ontario Centre for Environmental Technology Advancement (OCETA). He is the past President and member of the Board of Trustees for the Exuma Foundation; an organization that works to improve the quality of life and educational opportunity for Bahamians. He is the Chair of the Board for the Griffith Island Club, a sports and recreational club on Griffith Island in Georgian Bay. Donald has been a PEO Designated “Consulting Engineer” for many years and was awarded Rotary International’s Paul Harris Fellowship in 1995 and the Alumni Achievement Medal of the University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Engineering in 1994. Donald is professionally active in the energy industry where he manages projects related to the utilization of residual heat from electrical generating facilities in Ontario and Michigan. He has been instrumental in the establishment of the Bruce Energy Park and industrial operations who have supplied heat and electrical energy from the Bruce Nuclear Power Development.
