Advanced Chemical Technologies Inc. was incorporated October 12, 2015 and licensed processes patented in 2010 out of The University of Waterloo’s Chemical Engineering Department. Advanced Chemical Technologies Inc. has amalgamated with the Licensor of the technology, securing control and ownership of the technology within AChT.
AChT has 7 Board members and 6 Advisory Council members with extensive experience in: engineering, construction, chemical industry, environmental industry, intellectual property, corporate and contract law, provincial and federal government service and relations, and business and project management. AChT has a 6-person management team and the senior project manager and owner-engineer each have proven capabilities and experience on projects of this scale.
Advanced Chemical Technologies is located in Waterloo and Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. The company is currently designing its first low carbon methanol plant in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada.
